On our most recent radio broadcast, we talked ETFs in 401(k)s and 401(k) rollovers. With more investors realizing the potential benefits Exchange Traded Funds can offer – things like lower costs, transparency, and diversification – they’re naturally asking the question of “when will ETFs be available in my 401(k)”? 401(k) plans have traditionally been dominated by mutual funds and in particular, actively managed mutual funds. The good news is that ETFs are making significant inroads into 401(k) plans and there are a number of ETF-focused 401(k) platforms available, several of which we offer at The ETF Store.
