What’s Next for ETFs?

Listen to The ETF Store Show every Tuesday at 9am on ESPN 1510 as we cover everything you need to know about Exchange Traded Funds and the world of investing.

On our most recent radio broadcast, we discussed an excellent piece from the Wall Street Journal titled “What ETFs’ Next Act Will Look Like”. The article lays out five predictions for the ETF industry to occur over the next five years. The article states, “exchange-traded funds have transformed investing over the past two decades” and we couldn’t agree more. On the radio show, we explained the growth in the popularity of ETFs and examined each of the five predictions outlined in the article. We also provided our own predictions for the ETF industry and described how investors continue to benefit from ETF innovation.

In our weekly market update, we discussed the key takeaways from the most recent Federal Reserve meeting and offered some thoughts on how investors can grapple with the significant challenges they face in today’s volatile markets. Finally, in our weekly ETF spotlight segment, we explored some ETF options to replace the Janus A Fund (ticker JDGAX), including the Powershares QQQ ETF (ticker QQQ). Listen to the full show here.
